I'm an occupational therapist with years across inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, home health, pediatrics, and behavioral health. I've supervised clinicians, coordinated care teams, and written thousands of skilled notes — but what stayed with me is what I saw families go through.
Rushed visits. Pamphlets instead of answers. Strangers in and out of the home. I started Bloom Again OT™ so Miami families get something better: a therapist who comes to you, takes her time, and treats your parent like her own.
This is personal for me. When my father was dying, home health showed up unannounced with a little free weight, got a signature, and left. They billed a dying man. I think about that every time I walk into a client's home.
I built Bloom Again for clinicians, too. I've worked three jobs at once, rushing from one visit to the next — no therapist should have to do that, and no family should ever get the hurried version of one. Here, my team gets to focus on one thing: the person in front of them.
I chose this profession to help people do better — to live better. Bloom Again is therapy done with integrity: unhurried, honest, and worthy of the families who trust us with their parents.
